Description
I took this series as I was about to land at SFO (San Francisco Airport). I was told that this is a photo of the salt flats below. I just happened to be sitting in the right place at the right time, and the plane turned at just the right angle for me to capture several of these unusual land patterns.

Wow, the colours are so vibrant! I have to say, I am deathly afraid of flying (and heights), but this gives me a beautiful view through the eye of someone else!
